Crystal attended the Frame Tutor school in Edmonton and learned how to do picture framing. From there she and her husband Lee created Infinite Ideas Ltd., A residential retail outlet specializing in custom picture framing.

  It was their belief that the people who would      use their framing services most frequently      were the artists that were active in the           community. Crystal joined the Artist                 Association of Beaumont and took art classes   with them. She learned that she had the ability to paint and has been busy creating, showing and selling her work all over Western Canada since.

Lee bought a camera as a Christmas present for Crystal , to use in obtaining reference photos. He has since discovered a talent and love of photography he wasn’t aware of.  Some of the photos he has captured couldn’t be improved by painting them, so he is showing and selling them as they are. He too has become an artist, albeit accidentally.  

Their daughter Cara (14) is also an artist who is very successful as well. She loves to paint and sculpt. She has a painting that she did at 11 years old released as a limited edition giclee through a publishing company. She has also shown her work in several cities and has gallery representation.

It is still the goal of Infinite Ideas to provide affordable custom picture framing.  They continue to specialize in framing for other artists. Recently Crystal has taken her artwork past the edge of her paper and into the matting and framing process. This is proving to be successful for her work.

Infinite Ideas has expanded into their home further and they now have a 200 square foot art & gift gallery. It is a wonderful space for Lee, Crystal & Cara to display their works in a very creative atmosphere. They also carry work from other local and area artists. You will find a collection of watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, scrap sculpture, stained glass, raku, as well as both soft and oil pastels  amongst jewelry, knitting, crocheting and beadwork.
